ATLAW:
Our free online anti trafficking training and mentoring programme
We are delighted to announce that ATLEU will be running its fifth cohort of ATLAW for legal advisors from November 2026 to September 2027.
The programme is designed specifically for immigration and public law advisors working under a legal aid contract who are working with, or interested in working with, survivors of trafficking and modern slavery.
Participants will receive at least 10 hours of training and three hours of mentoring. The programme is delivered by our specialist legal team and also includes a training session from Helen Bamber Foundation on the use of medical evidence and will conclude with a session co-delivered by a trainer with lived experience on the impact that quality legal representation has.
If you are interested in joining this free programme, please send an expression of interest to training@atleu.org.uk by 5pm on Monday 16 November with the following information:
Whether you work for an organisation with a legal aid contract in public or immigration law (we will consider those not currently working in a legal aid firm provided you have intentions to work in legal aid in the near future - please set this out in your email)
Whether you are able to attend all of the training sessions (the overview, mentoring and evaluation sessions are optional)
