Our Rise & Lead Fellowship is here!
If you are someone with lived experience of human trafficking/modern slavery and migration our new paid work opportunity may be right for you.
At ATLEU, we’ve known for a long time that people with lived experience of trafficking and modern slavery are poorly represented in our organisation and in the anti trafficking workforce as a whole. Our Untapping a Power report, co produced with survivors of trafficking and slavery, identified a range of barriers driving these poor levels of representation.
If we want to see change, we need to take action ourselves.
This is why we began this journey - to really understand what can help people move into employment in the anti trafficking and advice sectors, what the barriers are to this, and how we can help people to overcome them.
With funding from City Bridge Foundation, we have now joined with Southeast and East Asian Centre, a community organisation providing support to people from Southeast and East Asia, and Voice of Domestic Workers, an organisation run by and for migrant domestic workers, to create this new fellowship for survivors.
This is a paid opportunity for people with lived experience of human trafficking/modern slavery and migration to complete a 12-month training and work experience programme.

We’ve also put in place a range of information and support activities to help you through the application process and to understand more about what would be expected of you in this role.
